How to Calculate Leap Year

What is Leap Year?

A leap year calculator determines whether a given year is a leap year based on the Gregorian calendar rules: divisible by 4, except centuries (divisible by 100), which must also be divisible by 400. The year 2000 was a leap year; 1900 was not. Leap year rules were needed because a solar year is approximately 365.2425 days.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. 1Input year
