The Senior Citizens' Savings Scheme (SCSS) is a government-sponsored savings instrument exclusively designed for senior citizens, offering one of the highest guaranteed returns among all small savings schemes in India. Who is eligible for SCSS?

What is the maximum amount I can invest in SCSS?
From 2023, the maximum deposit in SCSS was increased to ₹30 lakh per individual from ₹15 lakh. Is SCSS interest taxable?
