What is the difference between staking and DeFi yield farming?
Staking rewards come from participating in blockchain consensus — locking tokens to help validate transactions and earning newly issued tokens plus transaction fees as compensation. DeFi yield farming involves providing liquidity, lending assets, or performing other financial activities within smart contract protocols, earning fees and governance token rewards.
