Set up a real-time dashboard tracking monthly Quick Ratio alongside its four components: new MRR, expansion MRR, churned MRR, and contraction MRR. When churned MRR starts rising faster than new MRR — even if the Quick Ratio has not yet fallen below 4 — you have an early warning 2–3 months before the Quick Ratio visibly deteriorates. This early signal gives you time to investigate and intervene before the problem compounds.
