Racial/Ethnic Neutrophil Variation
Individuals of African, Middle Eastern, and Afro-Caribbean descent may have ANC values 0.2–0.4 × 10^9/L lower than European reference ranges — a benign condition called 'benign ethnic neutropenia' (BEN).
